Spatio for Education

A controlled AI operating environment for the university.

Students can bring the AI they already use. Your institution keeps complete, verifiable visibility into who wrote what: every human keystroke and every agent edit, on the record. The goal is not to ban AI. It is to make its use transparent.

The problem

AI is already in every assignment.

Students can point a capable agent at an essay or a problem set and the result looks hand-written. Detection tools guess, and they are wrong often enough to be unusable in a hearing. So institutions are stuck choosing between banning tools students will use anyway and giving up on knowing who actually did the work. Spatio rejects that tradeoff.

The approach

Provenance, not prohibition.

When a student works in Spatio, every contribution to every document is recorded and attributed. Human or agent. Which agent. What it was asked to do. The institution gets a complete, durable record, and the student gets to use the tools that make them faster.

01

Every edit is attributed

Each contribution to a document is recorded as human or agent, down to the character. You see which vendor acted, the prompt that produced the text, and exactly what the student typed themselves.

02

Instructors get a lens

Professors open a class and review a full timeline of human and agent contributions, per student, per document. Scoped to the classes they teach, and every review is itself logged.

03

Tamper-evident by design

The record is append-only and hash-chained, with signed checkpoints. Any deletion or edit breaks the chain, so the log can stand behind an academic-integrity decision.

Control

You set the rules. The record proves them.

Spatio gives the institution the controls a controlled AI operating environment needs, and the cryptographic backing to be the record everyone trusts.

Their subscription, or your tokens

Students keep using the AI they already pay for, like Claude or Codex. Admins can also provision institution tokens. Every action records which credential ran it.

Policy per class

Set which agents are allowed in each class. Open an exam window where agent writes are blocked, or permitted but flagged. The controls ride the same gate every agent action passes through.

Verifiable export

Export a signed integrity report for any submission: every human and agent contribution, with the proofs needed to verify it independently. The record a reviewer can rely on.

Bring it to your campus

Let students use AI. Keep the record.

We work with departments and institutions to pilot Spatio in real courses. Tell us how your classes run and we will show you the provenance model end to end.
